Step 1....

The road to South Africa technically began a few months ago when I foolishly signed up without doing a great deal of research. However, a 3.38.14 marathon in Sacramento should now officially qualify me – that was a personal best by 23 minutes, after a slightly more dedicated training period than I have managed before. Now I need to make sure I keep that progress up – a blog may help inject some discipline in to that process through public pressure....
